Taylormade R11 VS Burner SuperFast 2.0

For the 2011 golf season, TaylorMade released the R11 driver, which carries on the blood lines of the very popular R-series drivers of past years, and the Burner Superfast 2.0 driver which is a follow up to the Burner 1.0 driver introduced in 2010. So if you happen to be shopping for a new driver, how do you decide which of these clubs are right for you? They are both used by tour professionals, they have received positive reviews in various golf magazines and they have both sold extremely well. Although it is a difficult choice, this article will try to break down the differences between them to allow you to make an educated choice on which TaylorMade driver is right for you.

Cost
Both of these clubs come in both the regular models as well as the TP (tour preferred edition). According to the TaylorMade website, the Burner 2.0 is the least expensive of the two clubs with the regular edition coming in at $299 and the TP version costing $399. The R11 regular edition is $399 and $499 for the TP edition.
Edge: TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0
Precision
One of the most vital parts of any golfer’s game is getting off the tee and into the fairway. This can be a frustrating exercise especially if you’re trying to control a wild fade or draw. The R11 has several adjustable pieces that allows you to compensate for these ball flights. You can adjust the launch angle, center of gravity, or even set the face of the club to match your club to your swing as opposed to your swing to your club. The Burner does not come with any adjustable pieces, so it’s up to your own ability to keep it in the fairway.
Edge: TaylorMade R11
Distance
The focus of design for the Burner Superfast 2.0 is pretty clear: more distance. The club weighs in at only 279 grams, which makes it the lightest driver that TaylorMade has ever produced. They have also added an extra inch onto the club when compared with last year’s model. Finally, they have redesigned the club head to improve it’s aerodynamics. All this leads to being able to get the club through the impact zone quicker and generating more distance of the tee. While the R11 has similar aerodynamic features on the club head, it can’t match the Burner off the tee.

Edge: TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0
Fun Factor
Having the R11 is just plain fun. Being able to adjust the club in so many ways and experiment with the different configurations is a big perk of this club. Although you have to stick with a configuration once you step out onto the course, the fun you can have on the driving range with this club surpasses that of the Burner.
Edge: TaylorMade R11
Bottom Line
As you can see, it’s a tough choice between the Burner and the R11. The Burner has truly been designed for the golfer that values distance over all other aspects where as the R11 is for the golfer who wants to customize his ball flight to shape his shots. Both of these drivers are guaranteed to turn heads around the driving range for the time being with their innovative white crown design (which TaylorMade says was done to help you line the ball up properly in your stance). But at the end of the day, to decide between them you really need to get each of these in your hands and hit some balls with them. It may be tough to choose between them, but you won’t be disappointed if you do happen to pick one up.

Fantastic Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver Review

Do you worry about your golf clubs, or do you still have no confidence in yourself? I think I can give you some advisement what I met before! The taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver men golf practice club improves consistency and control introducing the men stainless golf practice club with the new patented dual hinge that can identify every flaw in your golf swing, whether it's your take-away, your backswing, your downswing or your follow-through.

Why I choose the burner superfast 2.0 Driver to talk. Actually, I don't want to list too much because you can learn it in details on the net. The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 is the lightest driver TaylorMade has produced to promote faster swing speed and more distance. The ultra-large 4,550 square millimeters face and low-drag aerodynamics are designed to increase swing speed, a higher launch angle and lower spin-rate, equaling a dramatic boost in distance. The two best distance-producing technologies in years are combined in this high-MOI driver, helping to make Burner Superfast 2.0 five yards longer than the original Burner Superfast. Of course, there are more features you can search for through the internet as a vast of information.

Like the R11 driver, the first thing you'll notice about the burner superfast 2.0 Driver is its white crown. By designing a driver with a black face and a white, matte-finished crown, TaylorMade is trying to create the most contrast possible in order to help golfers align the club more easily. The white crown also eliminates hot spots and glare that are often created with glossy-topped clubs.

Besides, the golf set is built for speed and does not disappoint. It is light in your hands and noticably longer than a standard driver. The white crown will not be for everyone, but is certainly worth consideration. I found the graphics on the crown a bit off putting, but certainly did not take away from the performance.

For beginners or professionals there are ten rules which they should stick to. It is important to follow these ten simple rules so that your golf game will improve and you get the most out of your ability. Golf is a very challenging game and even professionals find it very frustrating. People put far too much pressure on themselves about their technique when there are playing. However if people focused more on these top ten golf tips they will improve their game.

The Review of Ping K15 Driver

Just about every golfer who has ever been fitted for a club, whether he knows it or not, was almost certainly in part fit using the process PING pioneered nearly 40 years ago.

While it’s easy to get caught up in the fitting, that’s not the reason we’re here. This is, after all a review of thePing K15 Driver. Released in the fall of last year, the K15 rounds out PING’s “15 series”, which also includes the G15 and I15. Though it hardly seems possible, the Ping K15 Driver is engineered to be even more forgiving than the G15. According to PING, the all titanium K15 offers golfers a high trajectory ball flight with low to medium spin.

In reality, the Ping K15 Driver is very much a replacement for the G10 Draw model. Unlike the G15 or I15, the K15 features what PING calls “Straight Flight Technology” or SFT. SFT is PING-speak for “we moved 10% of the total clubhead mass toward the heel of the club”. PING has made that extra weight visible via a slight bumpout which is visible on the clubhead (occasionally so at address). While the I15 is for better players, and the G15 is probably a good fit for most of the rest of the golfing population, the Best Price Ping K15 Driver is specifically designed to help those golfers who struggle to contain their big fade, or slice as it’s more commonly called.

Ads by Google

Let our charts be your guide on this one. If you’re the kind of golfer who fights a slice, frequently misses to the right, or simply can’t achieve any degree of consistency with your current driver, then absolutely, you should be looking at the Ping K15 Driver. If however, you miss, left, or don’t miss much at all, then realistically, there is very little reason for you to look at the K15. Fortunately, the G15 and I15 are also part of PING’s current driver lineup. If the Ping K15 Driver doesn’t suite you, there’s a good chance one of those will.

We do think the K15 is an excellent choice for the higher handicap golfer, the guy whose idea of workability is “working the ball out of the trees” before hitting his third. For guys who want to shape their shots, or for those looking for a bit more feel from the big dog, the K15 probably isn’t ideal.

The Ping K15 Driver is definitely not a one size fits all driver, but for the guy it does fit, it could prove to be an absolute game changer.

Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver, Best Christmas Gift

By designing a driver with a black face and a white, matte-finished crown, TaylorMade is trying to create the most contrast possible in order to help golfers align the club more easily. The white crown also eliminates hot spots and glare that are often created with glossy-topped clubs. While the triangular titanium club head has been made more aerodynamic, the face of the new taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver, which measures 4,550 square millimeters, is bigger than last year's model.

In fact, it's the biggest face TaylorMade has ever built for a driver. And that's good, because the standard shaft for the burner superfast 2.0 Driver is 46.5" long. That long shaft is going to help you generate more club head speed for greater distance, but hitting the ball in the sweet spot will be a little more challenging too. For even more distance potential, TaylorMade shaved six grams from the old SuperFast to bring the 2.0 in at a scant 279 grams. Add it all up, and TaylorMade says the burner superfast 2.0 Driver is 5 yards longer than last year's model. The TP version of the Burner SuperFast 2.0 has a non-adjustable weight port in the toe area and a slightly open clubface angle at address.

The golf set offers exceptional distance with extremely light weight. The aggressive head shape features drag-reducing geometry on the sole with a tapered back end for faster overall swing speeds which translates to more distance off the tee. Ultra-thin Wall technology on the inside reduces the wall thickness in the clubhead to allow for a larger face up front. This creates the biggest face on any TaylorMade Driver which gives you a larger hitting area with a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness. TaylorMade has also included the 2.0 technology, which engineers each club for more control, higher ball flight and an improved sound and feel.

No Speed Too Extreme! TaylorMade’s SuperFast 2.0 Driver is sure to raise your golf game to the highest level. With bold aesthetics and an aerodynamic shape, this extremely lightweight driver features innovative technology that helps deliver extreme distance.

Wholesale TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver

I have played the Burner 2.0 for four rounds of golf and I am well satisfied with the results. Ten to fifteen yards further off the tee and straight down the fairway with a subtle draw. I recently purchased the TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver.

It has a slighter larger face and weighs 5 grams less than the original SuperFast, for improved distance on off-center hits. The high launch angle that it creates is designed for distance along with everything else that went into this driver.

Reviewer Feedback:

Ian - After watching Jason just rip the absolute cover off of the ball I was optimistic that I would find some success but like my first demo with this stick I was all over the place with it.  The head shape throws me off and I just cannot feel the club at any point in the swing.  I really wanted to like it and I think this would be a great stick for much slower swing speeds, but just not one that fits for me.  That being said, Jason swings it faster than me and he was able to just smoke this thing!  Who knows…

Jason - For me this was the longest club of the day.  It’s funny because this was one of the last sticks we tested and I was swinging 2MPH slower and I was still able to average 286 yards and a long of 314.  I must admit that I’m not a big fan of the head shape of the SF series but when its 280+ every time I quickly forgot about that!  The bottom line with this club is it flat out performs. Long and straight every time!

TaylorMade 2009 Burner Irons 4-9PAS Review

For this 09 Burner Irons, TaylorMade adopted entirely new design on the long irons, medium irons and short irons respectively. TaylorMade irons creating team began with 09 Burner Irons #4, and took the following methods to create further distance and higher forgiveness. The club face was made as thin as possible to be elastic enough for higher speed and COR. TaylorMade 2009 Burner Irons used tailor-made 450 stainless steel alloy with higher intensity, allowing the thickness of almost all club face to reach to 1.9mm. 09 Burner imbedded the Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) on face back, which allows faster speed even on miss-hits. The 09 Burner head was enlarged to realize higher MOI than the previous TaylorMade irons, and the sole was also widened to lower the center of gravity and make CG far from the club face. This is rare in making long irons. 09 Burner Irons increased the face offset to make it easy for the face back to original state at impact. The top line was thickened so that golfers can feel larger clubhead when aiming to enhance confidence. Finally, 2009 Burner Irons have longer lightweight shaft and grip.

The medium irons aim to create longer distance and higher accuracy. They have thinner face for high COR although their face is thicker than long irons. The short irons aim to create higher accuracy and faster response speed. They are also supposed to ensure enough ball distance. The head of 09 Burner short irons is more compact. Their face is also thin but thicker than medium irons face. The new 09 Burner short irons realize more accurate response, feel, control and playability. Each club in 09 Burner Irons adopted multi-functional sole design to reduce the turf resistance when swinging, allowing more smooth and power. All of the clubs used ICT on cavity back to increase the face area providing faster speed. With the multi-layer construction made of carbon composite material, aluminum and ABS polymer, the cavity back can help reduce vibration and noise. Each club in this iron set has more consistent performance.

TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver - Men's

I'm a longtime TM fan, after buying this taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver my loyalties stay the same. So far after a few range sessions it's a very easy club to hit. I was skeptical at first of the white crown but it actually makes alignment easier. I'm hitting shots long and straight definitely adding confidence back to my game.
The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver has a new larger face and improved Aerodynamics for faster speed. A tapered back end translates into more distance off the tee for you. With its aggressive head shape this driver delivers drag-reducing geometry on the sole. Ultra-Thin Wall Technology on the inside creates a larger face up front, in fact the biggest face on any TaylorMade Driver. Engineers also included 2.0 technology so each club has better control, ball flight, sound and feel. Includes Headcover. Custom options available.
The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 driver is newly shaped to deliver the benefit of Dual Crown Technology — designed to create a lower Centre of Gravity to promote a higher launch angle and lower spin-rate, the launch conditions that promote greater distance — but with a more conventional head shape. In addition, theTaylorMade Burner 2.0incorporates a longer shaft, lighter weight and more usable face area.

The clubhead's Ultra-Thin Wall (UTW) construction combined with a more triangular address shape and profile shape allow improved performance and playability. The larger face is important in light of the fact that the longer club-length makes it more challenging for the average player to make square contact consistently; the larger face provides more area with which to strike the ball. To improve performance without sacrificing feel and playability, the Taylormade Burner SuperFast 2.0 driver enhances playability and a moderate draw bias with a "measured square" face angle. The high-MOI titanium clubhead also features TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology, milled directly into the back of a clubface. The Inverted Cone expands the area of the clubface that delivers high ball speed, meaning that you can miss the centre of the clubface by a lot and still generate high ball speed and long distance.
The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 driver features a distinct white crown. When paired with its black PVD-finish clubface, it provides optimum contrast for easier and more consistently accurate alignment. The crown colour also eliminates high-intensity "hot spots" caused by reflected sunlight that afflicts gloss-finish metalwoods.

taylormade burner superfast 2.0 driver

SuperFast distance technology has been so popular that more than 50 professionals put the TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver in play on the PGA Tour alone in 2010 and the driver was used in 14 victories worldwide, most notably the FedEx Cup TOUR Championship!

Everything about the Burner 2.0 SuperFast driver is lightweight! Weighing in at only 279 grams it is the lightest driver TaylorMade have ever created, meaning you can swing it faster and harder for distance you simply will not believe! The Burner SuperFast 2.0 driver boasts one of the largest faces in golf at an huge 4,550 square millimetres, which promotes a higher launch angle and lower spin-rate for longer distance through the air.

The famous Dual Crown design now uses an enhanced super slippery aerodynamic shape, for faster clubhead speed and more distance. The high-MOI titanium clubhead features TaylorMade’s famous Inverted Cone Technology, which delivers a larger sweetspot for extra power even on off centre strikes.

The clubhead’s Ultra-Thin Wall (UTW) construction combined with a more triangular address shape and profile shape allows improved performance and playability. A distinctive ‘Ghost’ white crown is paired with a devilish black face making it much easier to ‘see’ the ball at address and aid alignment for extra accuracy and confidence.

Each Burner 2.0 SuperFast driver comes fitted with a top quality Matrix XCon graphite shaft and a lightweight Winn grip. Both have been specifically designed to be as light as possible for more ball speed.

Cheap and Hot TaylorMade Golf: Burner Superfast 2.0 series

Taylormade has been a leader in the club making industry for years and the Burner Superfast 2.0 series (cheap golf clubs) are one of their flagship. The goal is to increase the distance and accuracy to a maximum degree ever.

Taylormade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver

TaylorMade has released so many drivers over the years and they always seem to have one that is super expensive and one that is much less expensive than you might expect. This specific club is on the less expensive side for TaylorMade and it is one that you are getting value out of your dollars.

This Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver is another one of the few that can work for any skill level of golfer. It is not made to target a specific handicap group, but instead it is made to target the golfers that need extra distance. Everything about the Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 screams distance and this is what you will get from this driver.

Burner SuperFast 2.0 Fairway Wood

The new fairway woods have a lower center of gravity that helps you to get a higher launch which turns into more distance for you.
